#1. Vintage style Chautauqua muskie. This is a large 13" fish. Painted in a primative folk art design this fish decoy sports a large copper belly plate hand stamped by the creator. The nicely patinaed heavy copper fins are hammered to a subtle texture. The leather tail was cut from an old USPS postal mail carrier bag. Offered @ 165.00 plus shipping. No longer available.... I'm offering shipping @ my cost. I never charge more for handling.....Also offered is a 10% discount to buyers of 3 or more fish at a time.

# 3. This 9" Chautauqua style spotted Sucker has just had the finishing touch. Great form and multiple layering of color give this racey fish tons of appeal. I seldom make suckers. I love the cool body designs i'm able to comtrive but painting them is difficult for me. This one turned out just the way I pictured it though. I'm offering this fish @ $ 110.00 if your interested.

This intriging 16 inch brook trout in breeding color has all the compelling qualities of an old Cadillac decoy. Every stroke of my brush while applying the vermiculiation was done purposefully....the verm and dot pattern pulls this fish together. The body was coated with white Gesso to form an excellent surface for painting. The colors were applied by shading in different colors over a full week period. these pictures don't do the fish any justice. You need to hold and observe the fish at different angles. He weighted and balanced to swim like my small decoys...Look at these pictures carefully....You can enlarge them with a click of your mouse. Thanks for looking CB... 17 inch PIKE decoy inspired by fish from the Lake Chautauqua region of Western NY.
